Meet your guide and driver at your hotel for an early transfer in our assistance vehicle south west of Marrakech near Lake Takerkoust. After taking possession of your bike and the last check and settings the trip can start. Our day starts on a flat stretch, then ascending to Taghenchoute village before zigzagging up to the Kik plateau with a great view of the mighty peaks of the Atlas Mountains and Mount Toubkal (the highest peak of Morocco and North Africa) peak 4167m. Throughout the year, this magnificent plateau transforms with the seasons: From the brown/tan fall when farmers plow the land with donkeys and mules to brown/white in winter with snow covered peaks of the Atlas. In spring, green/red when the barley fields of bright green mix with poppy flowers. Yellow/brown in summer announcing the harvest. After a nice ride through terraces and local adobe villages, the track will quickly loose altitude and brings down to Asni. if you still have some energy we can ride the resting 14km tarmac road to get to Imlil village; otherwise we pack our bikes and our 4x4 will give us a lift to our guest house in Imlil. The itinerary is awesome overhanging the deep wady with its green terraces and bee hive like villages stuck to the dry mountain hillsides.
