For a taster of our mountain bike day tours in the Atlas Mountains, we recommend a ride around the preserved Anougal Valley. This is a ride you won’t forget anytime soon!
Amizmiz
Your guide will meet you at your hotel at 08h30.
We’ll bring you and your equipment up to the town of Amizmiz and follow the road up to the high plateaus of Toulkine.
Near the village of Azgour you’ll get out of the 4x4 transport and we unload the bikes. When you’re here, you’ll be at 1500m! And, it’s from here that you start your adventure!
We depart along a dirt track, discovering the first Berber villages of the day.
After a short climb, you will cross a pass and enjoy a superb fast flowing section on a dry wadi. After the quiet pine forests, you will come into the superb village of Imi n’Tala. In Imi n’Tala, a local family will host you for a rewarding tagine lunch and a refreshing mint tea.
Then, it’s back on the bike for an afternoon of more biking adventures!
In the afternoon you will ride through a succession of traditional villages dotted through the beautiful Anougal Valley. Then, you will leave the dirt track to ride a beautiful single-track towards the end of your adventure near Amizmiz.
The MAROC NATURE team will quickly pack your bikes on top of the 4x4. And, then, it’s a quick one hour drive back to Marrakesh and your hotel.
